Each student is paired with industry mentors helping them path find and navigate their academic careers and a future career in tech.
A community of real people with meaningful engagement rather than anonymous online micro-interactions.
MinT provides the mentor and mentee a structured framework to discuss topics that are relevant to CS students.
To help you build a lifelong mentor / mentee relationship and get the most of your mentor / mentee time.
Our Talent services connect MInT partner employer opportunities with students with a hands on tailored approach.
As a student, you will engage with the MinT program 4 hours per month, and be paired with 2 industry mentors for the year. Your interaction with the MinT program during the school year include:
- Two guided and structured 1:1 meetings with industry mentors and written reflections
- Multiple industry talks, panels, workshops, and events
- Online MinT community with real fellow students and industry mentors
Student mentees are required to go through MinT Mentee training before they are admitted to the program to understand how to get the most of the program and how to be a good mentee.
Student mentees will be 2 way matched with 2 mentors based on mentor and mentee career aspirations, interest in a particular field, roles, background and journey in tech.
Guided discussion topics and outlines are provided for every 1:1 meeting between mentees and mentors. They are designed to flow with the school year and annual industry hiring cycles.
MinT will provide students with a closed online community populated by their peers as well as mentors to provide a space where real conversations about CS education, tech career pathways, and tech ecosystem navigation can take place.
Students and their interactions with the program will be supported by MinT staff during the duration of the program.
